G'Day Royce. Well just at the same time you left the states to return to NZ, I left NZ to return to California after living up in the Hokianga for 12 years and spending a couple years at the "Mount" surfing and sailing. Nice place! Your site is great- makes me realize I have to pull mine into better shape. Nice Art too. Do you know Tom Burnett by any chance? I am sitting here looking at one of his paintings of a lonely beach up in the Bay of Islands. Brings back lots of memories- I sailed from California in '74 and ended up at Sulpher Point working on my Yaccht for a year there before heading north. Thanks a lot for showing these pieces on the internet. I really enjoyed watching them. I'm a freshman on the Rietveld Art Accademy in Amsterdam, and paintbrush is a technique I haven't tried yet.
